From Website to LMS: A Joined-up CPD System

This project focused on building a new CPD website and connecting it to the College’s existing learner management system (LMS) that could handle course enrolments with minimal manual processing. The client needed a system that made it easy for learners to find and enrol on CPD courses, while significantly reducing the time spent on admin behind the scenes.

Our role covered the website build, branding, CPD course setup, and the integration between the ecommerce website and existing LMS. 

  • New website build and branding
    A clear, professional website designed to guide learners to the right CPD courses quickly, reducing enquiries and confusion at the point of enrolment.

  • Learning platform integration
    Courses are hosted in Moodle, structured to support certificates and CPD hours without additional admin steps.

  • Automated course enrolments
    Course sales are handled through WooCommerce, with learners automatically enrolled into the correct Moodle courses once they purchase — removing the need for manual account creation and enrolment.

  • CPD course creation and conversion
    Existing content was adapted for online delivery, with a focus on clarity and flow so learners can move through courses independently, reducing support requests.

  • Scalable system design
    The setup allows new courses to be added or updated without increasing admin workload as the CPD catalogue grows.
